Campaign 1 – Season 2 – The Known Realms

Adventures in the Known Realms (as opposed to the Forgotten Realms) – this campaign is set in the original (old-school) setting of “the known world” and later called “Mystara”.

Our campaign began in the country (Grand Duchy) of Karameikos, and has extended North into the Black Peak Mountain ranges and beyond into the country of Darokin.

Using the Swords & Wizardry ruleset, which is known as a retro-clone of the original D&D game rules, we are keeping things simple like the first edition D&D was, with a focus on role-playing and adventure, and less on rules and statistics.

New players in this campaign will begin at level 2 and we will work you into our story-line so far. This is classic fantasy role-playing at its finest and a fun departure from the 5th edition rules. For older players who have fond memories of playing with friends in high school, this will be a nostalgic trip as we re-discover the richness of the basic Dungeons & Dragons game.

Also, fans of Stranger Things will enjoy this style of play.
