Vincentia was born for the stage. A dhampir violinist with haunting beauty and unmatched talent, she rose to fame in grand theaters where audiences sat spellbound by every note.

Her mother, a celebrated soprano, taught her the art of commanding a stage. Her father, a mysterious traveler who appeared only in moonlit hours, left her with an unsettling grace. Rivals envy her, critics praise her, and admirers follow her wherever she performs.

Yet one admirer remains a mystery. After every concert, a single black rose appears in her dressing room, sometimes accompanied by a note from someone who seems to know her music better than anyone else. Vincentia laughs off the attention, but she never throws the roses away.
